genderswapping the two people in this game is popular it seems i never got to the end of it, i think i'm at the part where i got the airship? i don't remember how far that is it's been a while, the most distinct thing I remember about that game is the cooking completely baffling me. like the very first town in the game has all of these ingredients and i have yet to unlock a recipe that uses a single one of them, but i do have twelve different ways to cook rice and rice alone

those two kind of look a lot like luke and tear to be fair! the dude's clothes aren't quite the same but they're on the same general color scheme track and lady's midriff is visible which is luke's defining character trait i mean i've never heard of soul nomad before so

tbh i'm slightly more concerned about the whole drugging a girl to make them see girls as boys and vice versa to solve their problem of being distracted by cute girls on the battlefield...even though that kind of thing would then turn every guy into a cute girl to her perception thus literally not solving the problem, and only accomplishing really weird and creepy undertones in the process that's possibly an example of localization for the better because seriously nintendo that is a really really bizarre plot point no matter how you look at it
