The punisher tv show was good and I like that they gave some nuance to the character BUT it's also a PUNISHER show and he needed to do a lot more PUNISHING. Maybe less to petty street criminals but definitely more to crime bosses and organized crime poo poo and evil secret government hit squads. It didn't deliver well on the action-y parts I think. Most of the shootouts and fights are forgettable. His best scenes are still in the Daredevil TV show

An adventure under the sea with fantastic locations and creatures If it's an overserious melodramatic narrative of how the atlanteans are suffering in atlantis and brooding aquaman poo poo it's going to fuckin suck. And the actor for Aquaman is very limited so I don't know what they're gonna do with him

I think I just thought you guys had something more than "determination", something any protagonist would have in a superhero movie. So far we got "determined soldier" which is something I guess but not exactly a character I'm thrilled to see? Does the character have any other traits in the comics?

The Jokers fundamental gimmick is that he looks like a Joker and does pranks on people, villainously More recent takes seem to strip most of that away and just have him be "Crazy Edgy Lunatic Criminal Man" who looks and talks funny. I guess in a morbid way you could claim that the Joker pranked Batman in TDK by misdirecting him and blowing up his girl but it's still a reach
