I'm pretty sure it gives you screen shake and black/white vision for a second. Also hides the enemy guard indicator.

Game owns but really needs a "Toggle guard" option. Warden and Raider are my favourite characters so far. Warden feels so well balanced against all kinds of enemies, and the Raider has a freaking double leg tackle as his throw.

They are in trouble if you can get up close. Try to use shoves or dashing attacks or just parry and move in to wreck their face.

Warlord Good. Crap range, middling damage but great defense and absolutely incredible throw range.

Turns out if your teammate leaves after a 2v2 brawl vs AI, and you just ready up instead of re-queueing, and it's at a slow enough time, you can just rake in the steel/XP/loot by fighting bots with a bot on your team and it turns out bots give absolutely ZEEE-ROWE fucks about "honoring the 1v1."

Hell my AI teammate more often than not just bolted over to help me win my fight while rear end-tanking the other enemy bot for me. Three laws safe, yo.
