How do you patch a microsoft store game? Gears 5 says my version is out of date then kicks me but it doesn't have a manual update option anywhere.

I paused and restarted the install, restarted my computer and it worked somehow? Thy ended up solving it for me too, just rebooting seemed to be the kick the update needed to finish.

Bloodstained runs fine on PlayStation and Xbox, the only place I run into stuttering was the map where they try to recreate mode 7 effects. And that’s going to stutter no matter where you’re playing it on.

Giving a few games on game pass I missed out on by not having an Xbox the last 10 years and can play on a new monitor with HDR. Started with Ryse and I did not expect this, game looks great and the story is pretty fun. Feels like if it wasn't rushed for he One launch and the control scheme wasn't cobbled together after the Kinect bombed it would have had a better life.

If they pull significantly ahead of Sony and don't need the gamepass lever as much anymore its an obvious target for price increases and cost saving measures.

I wonder how fluid the final price is, whether they agreed to a set rate to market cap or relative at closing time. Announcing that they're going to add a large chunk of the catalog to gamepass is sure to stymy upcoming sales and affect stock prices when sales goals aren't met.

Had some pretty emotional bits, kinda like the movies (especially the 2nd). In really enjoying it, shame it didn't make enough money for Squeenix to allot resources to fix the many, many graphical and sound bugs.

The disc should work fine, the only issue is that you can't buy the digital versions from the Xbox store anymore. Peace Walker is still up on the 360 store and is backwards compatible for Xbox One. Is the store the only way to download a game to your series S? Can you purchase PW on the 360 store and initiate the download through a browser window or something?
