Is it just me or is it weird that adults throw birthday parties for themselves. A surprise party from friends/family I get, but planning one for yourself? Just seems odd to me.

while football isnt political, there are a lot of politics involved in the way that they draft players right out of universities instead of leagues that theyve established like the MLB and NHL do. There are also a lot of politics involved when building their stadiums and giving them tax breaks because having the team will supposedly bring a lot of business to the surrounding area

and in almost all cases everyone except the team owner is the loser on all of these deals

Lol you don't think I know this? I'm not worried about any of that, I'm 46 years old and have been watching football since I was a child, I just like to watch football ok. I really don't give a poo poo about any of that.

Yeah, ocala. If I can swing it I'm going to the january ones again this year. You've said he loves super cars, so he'd probably get a kick out of all the GTRs hanging around. There were also a few lambos and a dealership fresh ferrari 488 out there. Its definitely a good time, but I'd consider bringing him some ear plugs since some of the straight piped stuff is just brutally loud and definitely bring a cooler with drinks and food. They have concessions on site, but its standard expensive event food.

He's been to the last three St.Pete Grand Prix races, and has seen Iron Maiden live and refused ear plugs until I forced him to wear them halfway through the show :v:

Looking at the map I see it's the strip attached to John Travolta's mansion, I'm pretty sure that's his personal airstrip so i wonder how he's involved.......Anyway how are the viewing angles since everything is so drat flat?
