I think its because the Internet itself is a liminal space. When you're on Twitter with the gang it matters way less that you're also at Margarita Mondays. A lot of these people don't have much going on besides the Qult as far as hobbies. If you spend three hours extremely online vs watching television you walk away with a feeling of accomplishment. After all, you spent that time with people who understand you and want the same thing you do, an end to the global Cabal. Also, welcome back.
