We already had KOTOR II the movie. It's called The Last Jedi. I predict that Rise of the Skywalker will be like The Old Republic Online. Meaning they will play it safe and milk all the cliches for even more merchandising than the last two combined. Mandolorian Ep3 was pretty good but I think they dropped the ball with the whole "now you have a baby palpatine to go along with your yoda!" I did laugh when the puppet peed force lightening.

Knowing Mando's name isnt a ground breaking plot twist, to paraphrase Carl "so what?" The reason it is important is that it establishes the bad guy as being real bad and nothing more. There is beef to killing the bad guy beyond baby yoda (this time its personal). Mando's identity isnt a plot twist either, cause turns out he just looks like a schlub. The reason it is important is because IG is helping Mando rise above ideology and accept help from a friend. Rewatching the Force Awakens. Its amazing how on the first try they made a fun, comprehendible space adventure without front loading any expository jump cuts. You would think they could do that again.
