Everyone really needs to calm the gently caress down, to be perfectly honest. The next election will be radically different to the one that just happened because brexit will (probably lol) have been and gone by then. There is very little value right now, with the next election probably half a decade away, in running around changing policies just so that we can be seen changing policies. Corbyn was great because he challenged austerity, yes, but that only looked radical because the political consensus was so poo poo at the time.

Good Omens is the closest we'll ever get to capturing the spirit of his work and frankly "something happens on screen while a voice over tells you what is happening on screen because the joke was in how he described it, not the event itself" was poo poo television. Just read the book again.

Honestly I am hoping that the Star Wars talk is about the politics in the new film.
By which I mean how The Last Jedi is this bullshit Centrist fantasy.
I mean the film had some other major flaws (how the plot revolved around the worlds dumbest chase, that Finn had nothing to do in the film, that somebody felt a need to undercut a load of the questions/mysteries built up from Episode 7, that even after sufferinga major defeat the First Order took over the Galaxy after two weeks..) But it was the Centrist stuff that killed it for me.
