Anyone play Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders when they were younger?

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1121420/Kingdom_Under_Fire_The_Crusaders/

It just got ported to Steam and it's a good port.

I played Total Warhammer 1, what does 2 add exactly? I understand it's more factions, but the map on TW1 is already massive and 2 just adds more map + factions? That seems like it would just end with massive deathballs and endless expansion.

It's a better game. Gameplay was expanded upon and improved across the board, unit rosters got fleshed out across all factions, some factions that were poo poo got entirely reworked (still some poo poo ones though) and 2 has far more mod support too.

If you have 2 there's no reason to play 1.

Thanks for the explanations. Sounds like my plan is to buy 2 and get the DLC if I enjoy the grand campaign.

Yeah I wanted a more sim-y style game. But that video of Project Hospital looked good, but maybe not $15 good, so I cut it anyway.

its one of my favorite series and much like paradox games, you can build your own meta stories within the game.

That message is the generic key revocation message and there's no way a payment issue from 3 years ago is just happening now. Steam should not allow key revocations older than 6 months (I'd say 3, but let's be generous). There's no reason a fraudulent transaction or payment issue should be unresolved or undetected in that time.

Here's their bullshit reason:https://steamcommunity.com/app/402310/discussions/0/3068614788761423239/
If true then sue your publisher, or revoke the keys as soon as you don't get payment.
Also lol at making people jump through hoops to "make things right" instead of just revoking only unactivated keys which will cause much less bad press.

That is actually kind of scary that a developer or Steam can do that after three years of ownership.

Last week the free epic game (Horizon Chase Turbo) reminded me of an old arcade game I remembered playing for... way too long. Quarters dumped like I was farming a slot machine. It was a racing game with the same sort of visual perspective and style as Horizon Chase Turbo but you were driving across the United States instead of a track. I can't even remember the name of the game anymore, but I was hoping to find a remake or something similar to it but I'm not having any luck. Anyone know of something like that?
