For what it's worth, Jenny's point was that aside from being tremendous content that it'd be nice to have some more unbiased reviews floating around. Disney apparently did the classic video game publisher trick of offering chosen reviewers and influencers the chance to just do a 4-hour highlights only crunch experience and some undetermined number of them only did that before leaving glowing reviews. Lol.

The real question is why nobody on the publicity team picked up on her coming (which she advertised for months in advance) and made sure to coddle her.

Apparently the No Jumper guy has some baggage (I didn’t look into it but I saw something in the comments about credible sexual assault allegations, and obviously the culture vulture stuff Andrew presses him on), but I think this is a really great interview with Andrew and Nick from Channel 5. I think this was deliberate. All the movies are stylistically in keeping with bad, low budget movie making of their era, but 60s euro fantasy films have so much charm and a basic level of craft that they're actually very compelling to watch.

Like even though Ambrosio has a Hitchcock-inspired director, the film far more resembles something Mario Bava, Jesus Franco, or Freddie Francis would make

Deep ambivalence about the appeals of extreme machismo in my Garth Ennis comics?????

Seriously though, Ennis has a lot of things to say about the downsides and corrupting influence of toxic masculinity and tells it well when he's not phoning it in or going for gross out comedy. His Nick Fury comics are a great example.

Punisher MAX: Easily the best take on Punisher ever.

Punisher: The End: The best post-apocalypse comic ever

Fury: My War Gone By: Amazing evisceration of the pain and agony of American 20th spook foreign policy

All you have to do to defeat a world wide band of volunteers is to devote more resources to it than they can (which is a huge amount of resources so most companies don't).

From what I gather (neither side wants to talk too openly about what happened because it conveys to actionable information to the other side) they basically hosed up their sponsored post identifiers in a million different little ways so it takes major work to separate the legit posts from the sponsored ads by those maintaining the block list.

What ever content management system Facebook has for inserting the ads is able to do it without the messy stuff interfering.

I can't speak to how toxic the DBD community is since I've never had any interest in it, but yeah, it is. Way my mom tells me, he talks about how much he likes PUBG and Halo but never streams them, which makes me think that he tried to and his numbers tanked

I'm genuinely curious, why is your mom watching Call of Duty streamers? From your regdate it seems like she'd be a few decades off from the type of person who watches CoD streams.
