Deep ambivalence about the appeals of extreme machismo in my Garth Ennis comics????? Seriously though, Ennis has a lot of things to say about the downsides and corrupting influence of toxic masculinity and tells it well when he's not phoning it in or going for gross out comedy. His Nick Fury comics are a great example.
