yeah i did all the mgs2 vr missions when i replayed the series like ~10 years ago and i'll never do them again. there's a million of them and they're all the same thing over and over. mgs1 vr missions ftw though

yeah i'm not finishing acid in time for the deadline. this game is just too drat slow and clunky. maybe failing to finish this in two separate month long community game things is a sign i dont like it who can say i'll finish it someday regardless

lol the first boss fight kicks rear end. just chasing a guy around a ladder with like 7 different camera angle changes while music blasts twice as loud as all the sound effects and immediately stops the instant the last hit lands

decided to see if my save would switch over to the us version localization prototype so the top of my screen doesnt get cut off by pal weirdness (it worked) and noticed the fade out and in between every camera angle transition wasnt happening. thought it might have just been some weird consequence of the pal conversion but i looked up video of the pal version on youtube and it wasn't in any of the videos i could find. now i just booted up the pal version again and it's not doing it anymore either and i'm not sure if i hallucinated my first couple of hours with this game or not e: oh my god i figured it out it's only doing it when i'm in analog control mode?? this is bizarre lmao absolutely anything fucked around with this message at 11:16 on Sep 18, 2022 |

yeah its neat and theres some clever puzzles but i'm good looking for invisible door switches and getting zapped by electric floor tiles because i spaced out for half a second and continued to hold a direction after entering a room
