I quite liked FF16 personally and it's going on my personal GOTY top 3 list but I can see why it's been buried considering just how many good games have been coming out this year. It feels like a freakishly long year in terms of good game releases.

I just started my NG++ run so I can't get into specifics myself, but I heard it's fun.

Thinking about the person who told me that while FF16 looked cool, they were going to get themself hyped on Immortals of Aveum instead. Anyway, I beat Armored Core 6 NG++. I think at the moment my top 10 for GOTY 2023 is looking like this: 1. Armored Core 6 2. FFXVI 3. Octopath Traveller 2 4. Ghost Trick Remaster 5. Hi Fi Rush 6. Attorney of the Arcane 7. Holocure 0.6 update 8. Street Fighter 6 (I know, haven't been in much of an FG mood lately, it's my fault not the game's fault) 9. FFXIV 10. Arknights Only 2 games which aren't live service games, that's a lot for me TBH. Gonna see if I can get a couple more games in before end of the year to shake things up even more.
