people who complain about how vets are suffering because of illegals taking our jobs don't actually want to come up with a solution for vets. they just want to use their own status as a disabled vet, or the status of some theoretical disabled vet, to piss on other people. it's couched as a complaint regarding how they are injured personally but really it's just "gently caress those people over there" and so any solutions you give them that don't involve loving those people over there will be waved away because it isn't the point of the conversation
