My local Lego store finally had the Ghostbusters set in stock when I dropped by on Sunday. Man that is one sweet model! :)

Now, how do i dry them? :ohdear:
That tiny little "hole" on the opposite side of a stud seems to take ages to dry, if it is facing up. On pieces facing down they haven't dried yet. Will they ever, if given enough time, or do i have to flip every brick so that they get dried on both sides?
Blow compressed air at the holes to drive the water out.

For GTA people, Lasting Toys in Mississagua has 5 or so Research Institutes on the shelf. And maybe 1 or 2 EXO Suits.

All I know is a friend is on the prowl for the both of us and went through 11 boxes on the weekend and didn't find a single Hot Dog Guy, and only 1 Unicorn.

Then went back last night to the same WalMart and all the boxes were gone. :tinfoil:

I think I'm going to start getting rid of some of my Lego. I never have much of a chance to play with it, so it's mostly just sitting in boxes and bags on shelves in my hallway. I did a couple of eBay bulk buys a number of years ago, but do I really need 40 sets of wagon wheels?

Probably start with some of the big Technic sets.

I had some thing that you "riveted" together using a battery powered drill thing. Essentially the friction melted the plastic rivets and held the things together. Can't remember the name.

Don't forget the people that go "I only buy things on ebay because its cheaper!" and buy sets anything for significantly more than MSRP.

This is the real experience. It's like people heard about bargains some lucky people for when it first hit the scene and think it still is some universal truth.

Why is lego so expensive? Has the cost of what ever special plastic they make gone way up, or is it weird-beard adult collectors turning a cool kid's building brick system into a bunch of over-priced nostalgia-fueled "collectibles" based on tons of expensive IP licenses??

It's not that expensive when you consider how long it lasts.
