You should really emphasise at some point that there's no necessary link between player class and ship class, because even amongst new goons lots of them seem confused by the fact that just because they have a science toon doesn't mean they should try to go figure out a science ship, and that if they like cruisers that's just as valid as the escort on the tac they did because we told them to.

I hope it fixes this doff technician bug I have. As in, I only have one ten of ten in my active list. I can't add the other two. Kind of hard to aux2bat, when the other two techs are hanging out idle.

I actually logged in to find my jhdc having an older fit than I haven't used for a week or so. Also, all my doff (both space and ground) were no longer in the their active roster. This is how I discovered that I could only have one tech on the active roster.

I actually logged in to my ship being fitted out to a few weeks ago, too. Maybe it reverted me to my saved fit, though?

Which renderer are you guys using? I assume pressing minimum graphics won't change the renderer type, and that might be relevant.

Not quite as involved and deep into the engine as ENB; it works as a post-processor after a game has rendered, doing fullscreen operations like colour curve adjustments, vignetting, antialiasing or other filters, including some alright HDR fakery. It's similar in concept but more generic in implementation.

Huh, so you can see the big Sensor Analysis target put down by other people? This makes it... significantly more useful in pubbie PvE groups in places like the battlezone, if only because it gets everyone (okay, a few more than used to, at least) focusing their fire on the same ship. It's actually really handy.

You only have to be gold to create a foundry development character, so it's one of those things you can do when you're gold for a single month. Doing a single month is definitely worth it, you get a bunch of features unlocked that stick around.

Looks best on Rommies, and pretty much looks like it's the proper skin on the Tal Shiar ships. I'd like to see it on a Klingon battlecruiser at some point, I reckon that'd work pretty well. Also probably work pretty drat good on a B'rel.

Yeah, basic Tier 5 is 9-console, and from there you upgrade to 10-console ships in the form of Fleet/Lockbox/Lobi/C-store ships. Or possibly summer/winter event ships, which are free once a year.

And FYI the corvette is ridiculously fun just zipping around everywhere, no matter if you play it as a beamboat or cannonboat.

Just make sure as an engineering captain you get that trait that makes your orbital death ray chase people around.

It's pretty useless in PvP, but honestly in PvE it's kinda nice, since you have big bosses that don't move that much and the singularity powers aren't that awesome in PvE and also given it halves your singularity charge time it's not taking much away from the normal singularity powers anyway.

Also it makes bits of your ship open up and glow with sparkles, and gives you an excuse to equip a quad cannon which looks pretty cool shooting stuff. Pew Pew Pew Pew.

Unless things have changed from S8 (and I do recall some talk of nerfing the gun...), the recipe for ground gear is basically EVERYONE GETS A DYSON GROUND SET! YOU GET A DYSON GROUND SET, YOU GET A DYSON GROUND SET, EVERYONE GETS A DYSON GROUND SET!

It helps that the Dyson battlezone shits marks. Of course, the Dyson battlezone is ground in and of itself so you may want some advice for whilst you're earning those marks...
