I bought Warbreaker because my library didn't have a copy and I was told I had to read that before book 2 of Stormlight Archive. Great book series so far, reading Edgedancer before moving onto book 3.

That's why bought a power loveseat with a moving headrest, you can recline as far back as you want and still don't have to put your TV in the dumbest possible location

The amount of effort and time the creators of south park put into those games was amazing. They had their actual animation team make all the cutscenes I believe

Solice Kirsk posted:Bought my TV this last weekend. Went in hellbent on getting the 65" C9, but saw that Microcenter had the 65" B9 on sale for like $500 off so it was $700 cheaper than the C's I was finding. I just couldn't justify dropping the extra cash since I was having a hard time finding any differences at all in the picture quality between the two when I was first researching them. Congrats on joining the OLED master race, do yourself a favor and buy planet earth 2 on UHD if nothing else. Coco and Life of Pi are also visually stunning.

My 5-ish year old Visio is getting some weird issues...parts of the screen are brighter than others, and some games have a weird, almost shutter or flicker effect. Yeah they are great for gaming, everything looks absolutely incredible, especially 4k HDR games.

Picked up a new monitor, currently on 24" 1080, prices on 27" 1440p equivalents are finally reasonable so I've upgraded. Once the demand has normalized I'll be powering it with a 3090, but for now just a 1080 TI. Only lovely HDR400 but still better than nothing, but that also gets me 10 bit color so for $300, a hell of a deal. big mean giraffe has a new favorite as of 16:52 on Jan 15, 2021 |

It's been growing pretty steadily for a few years, especially with youtube channels like Jomez doing professional quality tournament coverage with pro player commentary. They put together a fantastic product and there's so much content from them alone, let alone all the pros starting their own channels with tutorials and guides, and 'get to know them' kind of content.

Just ordered today for tomorrow delivery, but it was highly recommended by a friend who usually does great research and only recommends high end products (ie my aeron and LG OLED were both recommendations from him) so I fully expect to love it. Filters are once every 6 months. There are cheaper options with cheaper filters but I wanted somethin a little more high end.
