Yeah if I had to guess I would say Walker will pop up into the vacuum Trump leaves (aka be the next not-Bush) and then maybe Rubio. Rand might get a turn in the sun, too.

I'm sorry to pick on somebody from pages ago but LOL, of loving course they were. They were trying to kneecap everyone but Bush out there. Did you not notice Fox news all of a sudden growing spines and asking Republican candidates difficult questions? Ones specifically tailored to gently caress up said candidates?

The very first question was an attempt to killshot Trumps 3rd party run. C'mon.

And then minutes after it ended Frank Luntz brought out a rigged focus group to talk poo poo about him.
The most surprising moment of the debate, for me, was when Jeb flubbed the brother/Iraq question AGAIN. That was the perfect "seems hard but you must be prepared to hit this out of the park" question and he just sort of dribbled the ball back to the pitcher.

In chess notation, it matters which way around you put the punctuation marks. !? indicates "an interesting move that may not be best", while ?! indicates "a dubious move – one which may turn out to be bad". The difference is sometimes subtle, but still real. Exclamation point first ("interesting move") is generally the better of the two.

So should we standardize on Jeb!? or Jeb?! with this in mind?

This is important. We have to be sure about this.
What is the punctuation for a really predictable move that is also bad?

So Trump's VP choice, in having a hard time imagining who it is. He won't want any of the candidates he's been busy insulting, I don't think a senator it governor will denigrate themselves, and another rich rear end in a top hat like Mark Cuban would lose a tremendous amount of power by becoming a VP.

I'm thinking he chooses another television or movie celebrity who is conservative but just well spoken enough to be taken seriously? Is Arnold Schwarzenegger eligible to hold the office of vice president?
I hope he picks some young beautiful woman / the front-runner for his 4th wife.

Trump is basically a conservative Bullworth. To increase his appeal in some demographics where he is flagging Trump is going to write and perform a rap. And that will finally be the lights-on-in-the-bar-its-4am moment.

If Trump doesn't have the nomination locked down after the primaries, he should spend the whole runup to the convention preparing a ridiculous wave of supporters/rallies/protestors he can bring to Cleveland, to keep the eye of the media firestorm fixed on him. Pay to bus them in, rent a neighbouring convention hall to host them, set up a free concert, whatever it takes to take his usual show on the road and overwhelm the RNC.

Considering the voting delegates are some 2500~ yahoos that nobody really knows all that well, it might be possible a show of blunt force on Trump's part could just intimidate them into voting for him. If the media and the baying crowd all around are expecting Trump who would want their name and face paraded as one of those responsible for denying Him?

There's been all this talk about how the modern system is not well-suited to a contested convention and when it comes down to it the party nomination is basically Calvinball with committees, and Trump's not known as the Chaos Candidate for nothing. He just needs the right kind of chaos.
That sounds very old-school Roman.
