I see GTAV is up for preorder - £40 on Steam UK, or £22 for a key via Nuuvem; is there any region-locking to worry about here? <edit> well this says no anyway: http://www.steamlocks.tk/index.php NoneMoreNegative fucked around with this message at 01:08 on Jan 19, 2015 |

Now it been out awhile and the shine has worn off / the bugs have (hopefully) been patched, is Watch_Doges worth playing at 50% off? I like a decent 3rd person action open world game. Also, buy Red Faction Guerilla while its cheap - that is a good 3rd person action open world game with excellent building destruction physics. <edit> RFG is free this weekend, no excuses.

I think it was the fact that your character is meant to be a soft everyman who steps up because he has no choice but then becomes a kick-rear end gun-shooter who kills the bad guys - gets all the way to the end of the game and he pussies out and shoots himself for an epic freaking fail. STORIES ARENT MEANT TO END LIKE THIS!?

freed Mars again via the gift of a big hammer, drat but the last mission slogging up the side of a mountain in a tank in the teeth of a storm of enemy fire is a toughie. usually 'turret' sections are a nice easy break to blow enemies up with impunity, but not this one

Enjoying the gnashing of teeth form people who have poured $$$s into Star Citizen seeing Elite:Dangerous appearing on Steam... Now E:D is still wide and shallow and being worked on, but as far as I can see SC is a Derek Smart game for the new millennium Also this article: http://www.wired.com/2015/03/fans-dropped-77m-guys-buggy-half-built-game/

There's the LoTR games, Harry Potter, marvel, batman, etc. Fun for a little kid and a dad-gamer who would like to play something with his kid. the Lego Movie game is a good one, it's got a bit of everything. if you and the kid haven't seen the movie, do so (it's a lot of fun) then play the game.
