Anyone know of a map which allows you to practice sniping against bots. I'm thinking Dust 2 for example. From T side you watch doors and it constantly has bots running past double doors. Has a Ct @ goose watching long A, someone hidden in the back of B etc. These are mostly reaction shots when taking the corners or getting good at timing as with the dbl doors.

Or, if there isn't anything like this. Suggestions on improving my sniping skill. I'm terrible with the awp it's slow and feels heavy. The scout I like because I can take pop shots and it's more 'rifle' like. Perhaps I just need to spend more time with these and learn them in their own way.

So just wanted you guys to give me some feed back on things to work on. I played a lot of gun game and arms race and have no trouble doing those games. Competitive is a whole new beast. I'm not ranked and have been MM till I get ranked so I can play with some friends. This was a terrible match where no one communicated. I know my cross hairs fall towards the ground sometimes and I'm trying to be consensus about that. What else can you guys rip me a new one on?

I just got ranked at GNM after completing my 10 matches. I'm curious to know what I'm doing or if it's common to have a high number of assist in games. I'm usually bottom or 2nd to bottom frag but have an ~equal number of assist. Is it me putting my self into dumb plays (2v1). My team carrying after I die having injured the player(s)

Do I fix this by working on spray control/aim?

Got my first ace against a weird half save CT team that was all wounded by my teammates. Is there a better way to watch play backs? Also, when how do you know if your going to rank up. Magic? More of the higher ranks among your queue?

I do ok playing B site on dust 2, but I never know how to rotate towards A site. I usually end up pushing through CT spawn and getting picked from someone at cross. Is this just based on info from your team or is there a good way to move from b to a?

I play a lot of B and going Cat or CT spawn is dependent on how many and what weapons. If the bombs planted for long and there are only 2 people I'll go cat Medium range against the person with the AK and I can either smoke site to defuse or sneaky beaky it without getting caught. If Awp is @ goose Ct spawn closes the distance and it's easier to engage. I usually jump on the dumpster next to ct spawn to pick the Ak person then move to ramp to engange awp where he will be exposed.

The biggest thing that helped me in my AWP game was learning where to stand and how to hold corners better. Then being able to fall back to the next spot to grab another pick. With the AWP it's easier to just go for the torso shot and call it good so it isn't that difficult to aim.

Okay so you actually get to use them or sell them afterwards you just have to own it to do that. Do you have to buy new stickers each tourny or if I own a C9 sticker from a previous one would that work? What if you put them on your gun can you still use em?

I de-ranked because I keep playing while drunk. Casual isn't any fun and the only time I have to play is after the wife goes to bed and we are usually a couple of beers or glasses of wine in at that point. Oh well, it's a little less try hard now.

On Inferno T side eco got a 4k with a loving Glock & Kevlar @ alt mid. Then me and my last standing buddy rotate to B. I say 'let me go first so we can trade and you can then plant.' Rotator comes Ct after we just push site. Dinks my buddy. I'm behind fountain trying to 1, find the bomb and 2, not get shot in the loving head. Can't find bomb. Finally someone says 'It's in the fountain water' at which point CT pushes me with m4 and it's game over

I hate this stupid game :laugh:

I think MM is loving with me. I'm GNM. Played 3 games last night. 1 game all GNM on each side. Next game GN3 on other team and my team was GN1, 2 GN2 & GN3 where I 32K lulz. Last match other team 3 MG on the other side and my team 3 GNM & 2 GN3.

So when I've been playing HS only DM it can get frustrating. But, what I do is try to hold an area. So for instance. If I spawn long doors on Dust 11. I hold door. This gives me practice as if I was CT side. As well as if I was pushing A bomb site. On cache. I held checkers. People come from both directions so you get your T & CT fix. You'll get a couple of good engagements or maybe you get shot in the back. But when you run though 5 people it's awesome. Just try not to worry about getting shot in the back or ya know. Check your 6 more often.

I'm a dead CT. I died yesterday after an amazing 3v1 clutch retake on A site Mirage. I was defusing the bomb. I thought I had time. Turns out 9.75s doesn't equal 10 sec. I was dumb and want to help my reincarnated self, and other CT in our battle against the terrorist.

Is there anyone out there with basic etiquette on purchasing kits. I usually don't do it because of nades. That smoke is appealing. 2 Flashes to kill with or flash my way out gently caress yeah. Look I only have like $300 left. No kit this time. Or I just don't have money to use grenades. How do you just "know" where a fallen teammates kits is. It's hard for me to follow who is who on the mini map

Spooky Ghost EDIT: Thx for who ever said buying helmets CT side were a waste. I feel like I die almost the same amount but save a significant amount of $$

Anytime I try to connect to any valve game time I fail out.

Failed to connect to Match Making"

Went into steam and verified csgo files and it found 1 issue which it stated it would re-download the 'bad file.'

Tried connecting again, no dice. Any ideas?

So i fixed it? I deleted and reinstalled and was able to connect to casual games. I can get the queue for MM but tried Demolition and had the same connection problem.... So ugh... not sure.

Also does anyone have the config for I think Boheiman nights cross hair and FOV settings?

Anyone know if there is a money hack being used. Slurm/Slump/Slurp or what ever his name is and I had a game where the other teams buying was always there. Awps for multiple rounds, armor etc. When we thought they were going to save surprise they have an auto. It didn't seem like this was 1 or 2 individuals either. Like they don't know how to buy and 2 have money this round 2 have money the next round because of saves. It was just really weird. Haven't had time to down load and make sure.

OKay, so I checked out the demo about the money. It looks like 2 of their players were able to save up to 13&14k. Then through the next 5 matches bought & lost 3. Got blue shell money. Won. Saved weapons and lost 2 more and were able to purchased those rounds. They were T side and were not buying any nades or pistols. Never seen anything like it. Everything checks out. Nothing to see here.
