If it's hanging him so that the rope closes off his throat and he suffocates, I would guess that he used Aqua Necklace to keep his airway open while faking suffocation. If it's hanging him so that the rope will snap his neck, then I have no idea. I assumed he got aqua necklace to stand underneath his feet so he could use it as a little platform. thank you

I have a soft spot for All Star Battle even though I've only played the demo... I'd only seen the anime and thought "Wow, what if this game turns out to be really good and I want to play it, I won't get any of the references post part 3" and that's why I stopped being anime only and read all the jojo manga
