I remember watching an Army commercial years back with a sniper in the desert doing recon on some camp and the narrator goes, "you've been assigned to watch an enemy base, you were given enough food and water for 5 days and it's day 10. Do you have what it takes?" I just went gently caress that, I'd rather not starve in the desert. It baffles me that an advertising campaign that is basically "yeah, we're poor planners, don't give a poo poo about you, and we're probably going to abandon you without supplies because gently caress you" seems to actually work.

I had a chain wallet. I went to Knotts Berry Farm and rode one of those rides that spin you against the wall, then the floor drops and you're stuck to the wall. Well, all that centrifugal force jammed the chain deep into the panels between the wall and as the floors raised I realized that because I had slid down a little when the floors lowered originally, I was now chained to the wall at a position below where the floor was raising to. They had to stop the ride, get everyone else out, and get a maintenance guy to come out with pliers to break the chain. I never wore a chain wallet again.

If they wanted to make it a bit more fair they could ask for a character from the top 3 highest grossing movies that are not part of a series or a reboot, which I guess would be Avatar (#1), Titanic (#3), and Zootopia (#45). That said it's still pretty funny.

After Delorean folded they were sold as company property and the person who bought the red one thought it was a 3rd party paint job and stripped it down to stainless steel, the owner of the black one repainted it blue for some reason, and the yellow one is with a private collector who still has it yellow. Apparently there were dealers who would paint them new before putting them on the lot. And as you mentioned some were in crashes and were painted to cover up filler.
