Abugadu posted:I think people are judgmental of trading up for a QB this year because the class was seen as weak. But there's always an element of chance in this poo poo anyway. Some 1st pick QBs bust, some undrafted guys become starters. Some suffer horrible injuries, some mentally check out of the game. You're never going to know if you made the right move until 4-5 years down the road. So we can laugh about it now, but it's likely that one of these QBs will shine, a couple will bust, and those who guess right get to say Told you so. People are judgemental about trading up for a QB because it's worked once in the last three decades

I would like to remind everyone that his failed tests were codeine in his cough medicine, pot at such a low level that if they had reversed the order of the samples he would have passed and taking a drink on a plane after his season ended but not the league year. Considering he's failed multiple tests and is such a dummy about it, I'm fine with it being a year to year thing

Addiction is a powerful thing and if they continue to punish him for past infractions it will be more and more difficult for him to combat it, I mean from his eyes why bother trying to come back because the league just isn't letting him back. Dude is still getting tested 10 times a month, sheesh. What if he was a Steeler
