An argument could be made for Ultramarines <-> Word Bearers. Both are concerned with more what happens after the fighting is done, both follow a rulebook.

He's like that in Unremembered Empire as well. Due just wants to do his best and make Ultramar a cool place to live and all his idiot brother and his distant and uncaring dad keep loving everything up.

Khorne talk; the Blood Pact, from Dan Abnett's Gaunt's Ghosts novels, are never specifically mentioned as being dedicated to Khorne, but are a great alternative to the "raving berserker" model of Khorne worship. They're brutal and viscous, but disciplined, with their structure deliberately modelled on the Imperial Guard, members of whom they sometimes subvert. Each member of the blood pact ritualistically scars their hands on the armour of their leader. Their specialists include snipers, infiltration teams, massed armour and warpcrafted weirdness. There's even a "blood witch" in one book who's basically a khornate sorcerer.

Endman posted:You people complaining about no Chaos Primaris are baffling to me. No one in this thread is saying they want Chaos Primaris you dingus, more that new chaos marines (and imo all marines in general) should be Primaris scale. Yeah, not having them sculpted to look midway through a Power poo poo helps a lot, but the proportions are still slightly off, and too small compared to, eg, guard.

I need to practice with green stuff anyway, and if I gently caress it up I can just try again. (Anyone know where that chain he gets the skull from is from? Actually, if anybody has that kit, can anyone say whether those skulls are bigger than the ones from the Citadel Skulls kit or whether they're the same size and I'm just misjudging it?) I think those shoulderpads are sitting a little low? The one on the gun arm specifically, it looks like it's floating off the underlying shoulder joint.
