Some of the SFX were changed for the atmos mix to move away from the re-used Dirty Harry / Aliens stuff (which were only used originally because they ran out of time or something).

I too have the X700. Yes, you got to manually switch the Dolby Vision on, but at least it has it (unlike my PS5). The PS5 is an rear end player. Has some weird motion smoothing that you can't turn off (to be fair the X700 did too but I was able to flick off the setting that was causing it) and the "X has updated" notifications are distracting as gently caress.

I remember for my UBP-700 I had to disable the Auto 24p setting because it was actually triggering some weird motion smoothing. Opposite problem but annoying nonetheless.

I could never figure it out either (taking the baked-in motion smoothing off on the PS5). Probably a Sony issue because my X-700 had that problem too until I switched the 24p conversion setting off.

I had issues where it looked like motion smoothing was triggered on my X700. You have to go into the video settings and toggle "24p Conversion" to Off. It's a pain in the rear end and caused me months of confusion before I figured it out.
