So I picked up the Rebel conversion kit since the 2.0 release spurned new interest locally.

Kind of bummed that T-70s aren't Rebel. I didn't realize since I hadn't been following the updates.

I'm going to assume that Resistance is a completely separate faction?

So to get a 2.0 damage deck I have to get the core set?

Well, poo poo. I don't need another X-wing to add to the 5 I have, and I certainly don't need 2 TIEs that I'll never use.

And I certainly don't need all the cardboard.

I'm thinking this as a first list to try out 2.0 with. Probably not the best, but my locale isn't exactly cutthroat. The Afterburners are mostly there as points fill. Not sure how much I'll actually end up utilizing them.

Luke Skywalker (62)
Supernatural Reflexes (12)

Well, I don't play X-wing a whole lot anymore and I have some acrylic tokens from 1.0 that look nice...

But the burger tokens look too drat nice, and a league is kicking up on Thursday at the FLGS. Ordered.

Since they're basically a beefed up sticker I think you could just put them on square washers.

There would be metal overhang, but you'd still get the circle/square effect.

Played my first few games of 2.0. So far it feels way better than end of 1.0 did.

I ran this and won both my games. X wings are so much fun now.

The person that makes Burger Tokens is a Goon, right?

If so, just wanted to let them know of a typo on their packaging. The package I got says it comes with 5 Force tokens but the web page says it comes with 3.

Not like I need extra, just thought they may want to know.

I'd love to hit up a System Open or something just to experience a big X-wing event.

But I'm in South Dakota so the chances of one being reasonably close is pretty much out of the question.

I just played my first game with Luke and 3x Blue Squadrom Escorts. It's drat good.

I was up against Deathrain, Vader, and Soontir. First shooting turn brought Deathrain to 2 hp left. Next turn Luke finished off Deathrain and Soontir ended up at range 1 and 2 of two X-wings and just evaporated. Next few turns were blocking Vader with low PS pilots while Luke tore him apart.

I ran this tonight because it seemed fun. It is.

First game was against a Poe, L'ulo L'ampar, Bomber list. I shredded the bomber in the joust and just had to cleanup the other two.

Second game was against a First order TIE aces sort of list (3 ships). He didn't fly the best, and I flew in formation. Pretty much vaporized a TIE every time I got my sights on it.

In other news. What's the policy on using Rebel Y-wing dials in a scum list? I just used Rebel dials tonight because it was crazy casual, but I'm not sure if it matters in a tourney situation.

You can still cram 4x Gray Squadron bombers with Ion Turret and Veteran Turret Gunner in under 200 pts. You even have 36 pts to spare to dump on another with just an Ion Turret or on ordnance/upgrades.

So is there any way to load out the Kihraxz to make it playable? Talonbane's ability is great but the everything else about the ship isn't anything to write home about.

I love flying aces, so I'm fighting the temptation to buy into Resistance even though I have a pile of new ships showing up in a few days.

And then if I do decide to buy into it I still have 4 T70s from 1.0, so I have to decide on buying a conversion kit or just 3 T70 blisters and an A-wing blister.

We're going to update our X-Wing base set to include 60 tokens instead of 50, so I'd like some feedback on what you guys think we should add.

Our current set includes these:
4 calculate.
3 evade.
5 focus.
5 stress.
1 cloak.
1 disarm.
2 jam.
3 tractor.
3 ion.
5 lock (white and black double-sided).
2 reinforce (front and rear double-sided).
6 shield charge (enabled and disabled double-sided).
6 standard charge (enabled and disabled double-sided).
3 force charge (enabled and disabled double-sided).
1 critical.

How many stress tokens should we add? What other tokens should we add more of to fill in the rest of the 10 slots?

Strain tokens would be good (or at least an expansion pack with strain since I already have the rest)

Anakin with SNR + D-7B is 110.

That's a lot of points for a 6 HP ship with only 2 agility.

I'm rusty on timings and what not, so I have a question.

Example: Anakin with Afterburners executes a K-turn, then uses afterburners. Can he use his ability to take off the stress and still get his normal action?
