The trailers show Pokemon from all previous 7 generations, either as NPCs or in the wild. What this means for the Galar regional dex is up in the air, especially since more can be introduced into the Wild Area via Max Raid Battles.

For a complete novice, is singles easier to pick up than doubles?

I've tried some vgc rental teams, in the Battle Tower, and they are way past me. Been enjoying playing the default tough team, in doubles, with all its ghosts. Games seem to take way longer than singles though.
