Recently the search function stopped working, which is a core thing that tells me the dev team isn't working on it anymore.

For BeyondPod, the search within "add feed" stopped working a few weeks ago. I'd been using it for years but their monetization strategy was a bad one (like buy a $5 premium code that only unlocked simultaneously downloading), so I imagine they're just out of business at this point.
