Ultimately it's two separate issues, drug screening and employee blackballing. I don't really mind the former but the latter is all kinds of bad and makes you a bad person to engage in it IMO. Also who gives a toss about someone getting "a week of free training", if they really wanted to avoid that they should have done the drug rest earlier.
