How do I cut down trees? I saw someone said something about eating fruit but my fruit meter is at 10/10 and I want to cut some unsightly not-fruit not-cedar trees.

e: oh, you need the Iron Axe? I can't spare any cause I'm short iron for the Nooklings! Should I grind miles for another island or?

While I don't know, I do know that in local coop there's only one person that can pick up items but you can switch that person at the press of a button. Might be worth trying that to see if you can donate if you're not the "main" villager.

Question: Can I hit rocks for iron in someone else's town?

Also you can flat out shovel and replant entire trees. I took some coconut trees and extra apple trees home from the deserted island I visited, as well as some flowers. The benefit to this is you don't need to wait extra days for them to grow on your island, the only downside is it takes a fruit-energy to do. It's also helpful if you want to do landscaping on your town without straight up chopping down trees. Cheers everyone!

Sturgeon question: Anyone who used bait to spawn it, where's a good spot to toss into the "river mouth"? I don't want to waste all the bait I painstakingly farmed but I have no idea if it should be like on the little rocks, or closer to the ocean...

Tell me about flowers and their subsequent effect on bug availability. I only have white, red, and orange flowers - do I need to scum islands until I get others for a full museum eventually? Something about a peacock butterfly only spawning on colors I don't have? Will the Nooklings sell different colors every day cause they sure haven't yet.

Buy price is 90-110 range, and you want to sell at 500+. Honestly, it is fine to just be lazy and buy at your buy price whatever it is. You lose money not looking for a super low one, but it's way more convenient.

Nook miles question: there's some items (street light, cotton candy booth) where you can directly buy the item with miles, but not the recipe. Is the recipe available elsewhere, or is buying with miles the only way to get those?
I have heard it's buying with miles only and also that the customization up for sale doesn't change so if you want the aesthetically different ones you have to trade with another person who's got the other one in their Nook Miles store.

That said, I can't prove you can't get the recipe, etc.
