Other than She Hulk, I'm not sure any Series4/5 are worth getting now ahead of working to complete your Series 3. Completing Series 3 comes with the bonus of getting more tokens as your continue up the track (I think we're talking a couple months for most people though).

No Wave posted:... and unlike sandman actually is a decently playable card. I think Sandman is pretty good in an Armin Zola deck, especially in a multi-card turn 6 like we seem to be in. Sandman t4, Dino/Panther t5, Zola t6. Also the Zola/Panther/Dino deck I used most of last season is still letting me climb without too much issue. I just assume every Patriot user is going to put Mystique down next to him the next turn (t4 if things are going well for their draw), so Enchantress gets double value if you don't have priority. It seems like most zoo type decks tend to have priority since they have some power everywhere early. ^ I think it works to complain about a card here and get it in your shop or next cache. So I also hate leader (and Wong and Debrii and Juggernaut and Ultron).

buffalo all day posted:leech/leader has taken me 70->90 in like two days. especially when you tech an enchantress to take out wong/cerebro/zoo decks, it feels like you lose only to nut draw discard decks with dracula and...that's it? I think I've mentioned this before, but if you're running certain ad block apps (NextDNS for example), some of the inbox rewards, news, etc won't appear 100% of the time. Edit: For NextDNS specifically, I'm sure I could fix it by finding all of the addresses that Snap calls and whitelisting them, but that's a pain.

This thread and the subreddit are a lot more negative about the state of the game than how I feel. I see Leader now and then, but not very often. I don't mind the progression mechanic, even though I'm missing a lot of the series 3 cards and spent almost all of my tokens on Super-Skrull right when the store launched (big yikes). I go on bad runs and get annoyed, but I think it's helpful to relate this game to Texas Hold 'Em tournaments. There have been lots of poker nights where I spend hours folding to bad cards and getting pissed when the 2-7 off suit I folded would have been a full house, but whatever. Anyway, I love Hazmat, Luke Cage, and Wong (Hazmat got yeeted by Aero and killed by Fisk Tower, but not until she did her thing 8 or 16 times? I'm bad at math.

I’ve seen Ego three times and I’m CL 2050. He plays awful but I’m 3-0 there (2 games we both immediately snapped, the 3rd I snapped and my opponent waited until t6 to retreat, the coward. Unrelated, the best feeling in this game is Rogue stealing a critical Ongoing from an opponent to get you the win. On the other hand, sometimes she steals Armor.

I made the mistake of buying Super Skrull when the token shop first opened with all 6000 of my credits. But he does a lot of work in a Negative Zabu deck. Rogue steals Zabu’s power? Skrull gets to copy it back. Oh and now I can use your Sera power too.

Lots of public libraries in the US have good omnibus/graphic novel collections too - make sure you check out your local one. Also, https://snap.fan/ (and the other sites I'm sure) has an app that can track your Snap card collection. You can then go and see which Pool 3 cards you're still missing. I'm down to just 15 after playing since launch (October 18) and have probably only missed a handful of dailies. I've paid for the 3 season passes (real money), the Apocalypse bundle (too much real money) and the Sunspot bundle (gold). Just posting this in case anyone in a similar spot is wondering how long it'll take them to reach 100% pool 3. The only "deck defining" one I'm still missing is Cerebro, but I'm also missing some important ones like Red Skull, both Thors, and Ultron.

The Pro Bundle not having an expiration timer is the only thing that annoys me about it. It's going to be there forever. The Primal Masterpiece bundle variants are pretty nice looking, but I'll save my gold for a bundle with tokens. Maybe with the patch we'll see some data mining about upcoming bundles.

Don't worry about the combo that you can't stop. If you see Wong and you don't have an answer, Retreat. Also you won't win every match. You won't win 50% in all likelihood. Stop trying to win every game and you'll get less annoyed, rage-y, or whatever causes people to want to throw their phone at the wall over a card game with cool pictures. Snap well and earn cubes when you can, bail when you can't.

Except there are lists/cards that do great with these types of locations (movement, Vision, etc). Just build a gimmick deck to deal with it or retreat if you don’t like the locations.
