Eregos unironically like you're right in that in a perfect world a lot of what you're saying would be correct and would happen. That probably looks like something I would have wrote like a decade ago. The problem is we are fully decoupled from sanity and reality and the people in control actively want to hurt people and know they will only be enriched instead of punished for doing so

I quit a job in college managing apartment renovations bc the lady who ran the company got all her contractors so mad they quit so she tried to make a bunch of 19 year old kids to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work She asked me to paint over mold in a frat house and I called the county with a list of properties and what was done and then left my tools at the front door of the office lmao
