Greg Maddux threw these all the time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7E2AQ-zogc&t=134s A Cutter moves away from the batter like a slider but not as much movement, usually, as one. This is basically he only pitch Mariano Rivera threw his entire career. Roy Halladay threw both pitches very well and could really gently caress people up with the scissoring action on them
