Also so much of LSU's traditions are revolved around our rivalry with Tulane. LSU used the colors blue and white for the longest time. And then changed them on a whim one day because it was easier to find Mardi Gras colors and Tulane already had green so we grabbed the rest.

I'd love to see a competitive rivalry between LSU and Tulane again.
