wattage is measuring consumed electricity, not light output, and LEDs produce somewhere in the ballpark of 10x the light for each watt relative to incandescents. there's 120w "equivalent" bulbs appropriate to replace the Home Depot floodlight in your closet and actually 120W replacements for the massive Cheech and Chong high pressure sodium rig with the heat signature that can be seen from orbit

They also have the trick of targeting the light spectrum for ideal plant growth. (more blue/red) https://californialightworks.com/light-spectrum-and-plant-growth/ Explains it better than I would but it's the reason so many led grow lamps have a pinkish/purplish hue.

More gardening suggestions please! I have shelf greenhouses for my basement but I need some lights, maybe a heater?, some flats to grow in... Plus anything outdoors that might be good, like planters or random garden tools and crap.

I'm a paranoid person and feel cheaping out on chinese led lights is a mistake. Like they're going to be on 12 hours a day and do generate heat.

Last time I did research on led grow lights people tended to go for the cheap chinese ones or build their own, they're probably fine. Hope you like weed forums if you want to do your own research.

Re: That charcoal face peel, I ordered this and was very happy with it. Most of the horror stories are from people who tried to DIY it by mixing charcoal and glue and got it stuck on their face, this stuff is very gentle and practically falls off on its own.

Also I ordered this flip clock and it's great. At Techmoan's advice I avoided the one that counts seconds since the second and minute mechanism don't sync up but it's a very fun novelty and whisper-quiet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZ0HIcR6PtQ

Flip clocks are cool but I maintain the majority of designs you see everywhere (there's like 2 , that's one of them) are ugly. If your willing to spend more get yourself a vintage one, there are some really rad looking ones. I got a Sunbeam one in green (as well as a modern Twemco quartz one but I don't like it as much).

Edit: on a whim I purchased some lab chems off AliExpress once, the lab tech confirmed that I'd been sent sugar.

But would you buy a vibrator with a heating element? How about one that shocks you?

The reason people call things cheap Chinese crap is that they come from china and are cheap and crap. I think you guys may be reading too deeply into it. Now if they're saying "China can't/doesn't make anything good" that'd be racist.

Different style eink clock thermometer hydrometer. As well as a timer. Uhh it has the wrong time even though I can connect it to my phone, which is weird. Maybe it'll get fixed at some point. Also I think I hate the touch controls.
