Just Finished: Rebel League, its about the WHA which was the AFL to the NHL. It was pretty good, but it just felt like a less interesting version of Loose Balls by Terry Pluto. Seriously, if you have any interest in the insanity that was the ABA, this is the book for you. The funniest sports book I have ever read.

They lowered the corporate income tax rate to 20%, but forgot to change the AMT (which is basically the floor for how far they can deduct their taxes). The AMT is at 20%, so they accidentally got rid of all corporate tax loopholes in exchange for lowering the upfront tax rate.

Even with this mistake, it still costs almost 1.5 T, and will go up significantly once they fix this. They'll probably pay for it by adding back in all of the crazy poo poo from the House Bill, like the grad student tax

It wouldn't, but it would basically a huge bill for corporate tax cuts, except big companies can't take advantage of it, so they're annoyed that someone else is getting the money instead of them.

The tax hikes are mainly going to be on poor and middle class people, largely in blue and purples states
