Yeah it was pretty noticeable even at 16 and not particularly aware, during training a bunch of poo poo about how mcdonalds actually looks after you far better than a union that would get in the way of things and take your money. Only lasted there a few weeks, I have worked some shite jobs but it was terrible.

Making my own half pounder burger with mac sauce was alright though.

I think it's down to the management, there were some places that had a lot of staff that stayed there long term, whereas I was in a place where there was constant turnover, meaning most of us were barely trained so it was always a rush- a trained and skilled staff would have done much better.

You have to keep up with traps for awhile, and with "humane" traps unless you are carting the mice literally several miles off they will scamper right back. Never seemed humane to me anyway, even if you dealt with it right away, you end up with a terrified piss soaked mouse, and more than once I just found a dead piss soaked mouse, presumably scared to death.

Plastic snap traps along their runs, the smell of even a useless cat and you will wipe em- but they will return so keep a cat and a few traps around so when the cat inevitably brings in stuff the traps get that too. I live in a lovely turn of the century build and snap traps are just a part of life- no way to stop em coming in without rebuilding the house.
