I don't play monk in savage or anything but it's basically the only class I ever play, and while the potency nerfs sort of suck all of the quality of life changes we got in 4.0 are incredible. Hell, being able to use Forbidden Chakra all the time is great on its own and feels really good to do.

Otherwise we mostly just got situational buttons, but the class doesn't really feel much different than it did in Heavensward, and it's definitely not 'dumbed down' in any way

a lot of people in this thread will say "no, never do potd" to newcomers, but they're probably ones who did a bunch of grinding in it. it really takes a good amount of time in potd before you start to hate it, in my experience, so it'a great for gaining a few levels

Another cool gatherer tip: You can skirt by with vendor gear for the entire run from 50-60 and not run into any big issues as long as you keep gear updated. This ends very abruptly at 60 though, so either youre going to be paying out the rear end for HQ gear or you just put gathering levels on hold until you start getting your crafters up to 60 as well.

Again, I�ve got no problem with the current female viera or male Hrothgar, I just want them to be equal, gender and culturalwise. Add male viera and female Hrothgar so it doesn't feel like pandering to a narrow audience while shutting out the rest of the playerbase. More options are better, and if a limited budget was the issue they still could've handled it in ways that weren't leaning on tired stereotypes.

It doesn't make me particularly angry, but it does get me kinda down.

i was never going to play male viera anyway and have always been psyched to get to finally play a bunnygirl but i know a lot of people who were extremely looking forward to that and, because i have empathy, i feel bad for them and am disappointed in SE's reasoning on the issue
