Stat weights were never really that accurate. Stat tiers are all the rage now.

I don't know what that means it is just what they keep saying on the balance discord. I just let nerds run the numbers and come up with BiS sets and use a basic priority system leading up to BiS

I bind mouse buttons to alt, shift, and ctrl and then can pretty comfortable hit 1-5 and rarely 6.
A few lesser used skills are bound to ctrl+shift 1-6.
Then I've got three more mouse buttons and G and T bound as well

It's not like this patch is the first time new content has been gated behind things like that.

The rest of us just shrug, clean out the map of all misc sidequests in advance during I'm-bored moments (gently caress wibbling over ~saving them for exp efficiency for future jobs~ when roulettes are as good as they are), and have it be a non-issue.

It's not even that they fail simple math (although half the raid reliably does) , but they die by droves to the other mechanics too, so either the whole raid wipes on the 3 minibosses or its just a slow death by attrition with the boss at 70% hp.

Guess I'll just give up on getting a 370 upgrade token for a week or two, so the thickies can slowly get used to simple questions like 'what is 2+2' .

The same can't really be said for Sam and Sks. My opener is already a bit janky at 2200ish since I'm left delaying a second while I wait on a buff to finish recharging. It gets really weird if somebody throws an enhanced Arrow at me (<1.7 second gcd).

Adjust your opener

Maybe when there's another several hundred sks in the next tier (rip my TP bar though). For right now it's more an issue of either wasting one Sen by finishing a combo while I'm already at 3, or delaying by one GCD for Hagakure to come back off cd before finishing the combo. I guess I'm not enough of a tryhard to redo my opener muscle memory over just that.

If you are doing the normal 3 sen opener I think you can switch your last meikyo from gekko to yukikaze and be fine. It is not 100% optimal but it is a lot better than delaying a gcd or delaying hagakure and it is only one button change

If your sks is lower than 1633 use this: http://ffxivrotations.com/17ou
If it is above use this: http://ffxivrotations.com/1g8x

The biggest difference is using a Yukikaze instead of a Gekko during Meikyo

If your ping sucks you can modify those to remove the double weaving, this is what I use and I'm a try hard
Sks < 1633 or fights with a gcd of downtime before Midare: http://ffxivrotations.com/1lv7
