I'd hesitate to call the second one a satire of fascism, it largely ignores the societal context of the conflict in order to focus more on a group people trapped in a building with a body snatcher bug, but the ending does illustrate how easily people's actual existence and history is ignored in order to slot them into the state's narrative.

It's been like 10 years since I saw it though so there may be more there that I missed/don't remember.
