my girlfriend's aunt died today. she was in stable but serious condition for a while, looked to be recovering, got sent home sunday, and died at home. her husband is in critical condition also (not intubated yet though afaik) and they have a 16-year old kid

but between sprawl and the insipid paralytic lure of social media it kinda sucks if a lot of kids these days don't have a familiarity of being outside without close shelter (e.g. having to walk as far back out as you came in) because any legitimate mass movement is going to have unrest and stuff where you can't just gently caress off home and pick it up tomorrow lest the cops block you out overnight.
