Saw a new Navigator today. The proportions look good in real life, and the Land Rover comparison holds, but the rear is busy.

The two chrome strips stand out a lot more, and the lower one in particular doesn't blend well with the two clear bits of the taillights.

How much does it affect the HVAC system when vents are resized? The new ones don't seem that much smaller, but I'm sure comfort was an afterthought here.

Usually when someone online mods a car it looks poo poo but the Mk5 is probably one of only very few cars to be improved by some random dickhead sat at his computer.

I feel like the first company to come out with a bumper that makes it look like a mk4 is going to get paid.

The headlights are an improvement, but the spoiler doesn't fit, the winglets are too faddy, and the rear lights he did to call back the MKIV are pointlessly retro.

From GRM's review video, the Supra looks like a jumbled up jet fighter:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-cvnqZlnrA&t=56s
It doesn't look great, but all the lines and feature density is pretty uniform. I like that Z4 ducktail in the back.
e: in that matte, it looks like a weird fighter jet. Not in a completely bad way.

Also, gently caress him for saying PSS aren't good enough for the track.

That's not the Corrado turning into a collector car, it's BaT rapidly turning into the next Mecum/Barret-Jackson auction site.

That seems tautological. If the site can find people willing to pay for a car, doesn't that make it a collector car?

not a great car by many metrics, but you do get a way better interior space to size ratio than modern cars, and the visibility is incredible.I can turn my head and see out of the sides and back!

Some of that visibility and carved out space comes from packaging that doesn't maximize safety. I dunno if NCAP has changed much since 2003, but it only scored 3 stars back then.
