Playing with them hurts his fragile masculinity or something. His audience is almost entirely teenage boys and he likes saying the n-word, so I've steered cleared of the dude and stick to my less than 150 viewer streams. he claims he doesn't stream with women because he doesn't want his audience insinuating that he's cheating on his wife

Cheetah i know these may be kind of obvious but have you played any Ogre Battle or Summon Night games? or there's the Hamtaro adventure games for gbc and gba which are surprisingly good. baten kaitos? i wanna rec the mega man legends games but those aren't slow paced. they're a bit drab but I'll sweats go to bat for the Lost Kingdoms games, From's take on the deck building fad I'm just going to assume you've already played the perfect game Skies of Arcadia

The thing is that none of these mechanics actually add any value to games, and certainly don't make them enjoyable. I really want to see games get away from progress bars, stat tracking, and achievements. Maybe next gen. :/ Just play your games for the sake of playing them! i don't have a single platinum trophy but i have 100% plenty of games i really like. donkey kong country 2, majora's mask, skies of arcadia, the wonderful 101... though i guess that last one does have in-game achievements
