"The disaster had one benefit. The Dolgarrog flood and the failure of the Skelmorlie dam in Scotland, which had killed five earlier that same year, provided the impetus for the 1930 Reservoirs (Safety Provisions) Act, which laid down such basic rules as the requirement that a qualified civil engineer must supervise the construction of any large dam and that any dam holding back more than 22.7 million litres of water should be subjected to a thorough inspection once every 10 years by an expert in dam design. The sacrifice at Dolgarrog may have saved lives elsewhere."

I don't see a lot of rebar or rust on those parking garage columns. That's not how those floor to column joints are supposed to work based off of what I have seen in other projects like this. It reminded me of this one: https://www.osha.gov/sites/default/files/2019-12/2004_r_03.pdf

Land Crusier may seek warmer climes in winter, but these are not strangers

Guard: Are you suggesting that 2x6s migrate?
Arthur: Not at all! They could be carried.
Guard: (indcredulous) What, a Accord, carrying a load of 2x6s?
Arthur: It could stick it out the window!
Guard: It's not a question of where 'e sticks it! It's a simple question of
weight ratios! A 1.5 ton compact could *not* carry 800lbs of lumber!
Arthur: (exasperated)
Well it doesn't matter! Will you go and tell your master that Arthur
from the court of Camelot is here!

(pause)

Guard: Listen. In order to maintain air-speed velocity, an Acoord needs to
beat its wings forty-three times every second, right?

Arthur: Please!
Guard: (patiently) Am I right.
Arthur: I'm not interested!

( A second guard appears on the rampart. )

G2: It could be carried by an Ridgeline!
G1: Oh, yeah, an Ridgeline, maybe, but not aa Accord, that's
my point.

That's an almost reasonable way to get 240v out of the standard 3 phase power. Instead of combining two phases in the electric panel, you're doing it with that cable.

The thing that bothers me is that the intended use is for charging a car. I wouldn't want to keep that as part of a permanent install in what is surely a place that is not climate controlled and sealed to the elements. I could maybe see it if you're travelling and want to lug your level 2 charger to the most remote AirBnB/cabin in the woods, but even that is a stretch.

It's possible to use this sort of thing and not hurt yourself. That's not the issue. Codes, like rules in general, are intended to keep the outliers from hurting themselves. The guy that does not know what this is or does, but plugs his toaster into it and burns down the house. Selling $15 worth of crap from home depot and $75 worth of dubious warning labels is exactly what people are talking about when they say Amazon has dangerous products. I would love to meet the guy that sold EV Doctor his liability insurance. I'm betting it's the "Action Park" guy.

I work in an Amazon warehouse and sometimes I have to do a walk along a catwalk to check for loose boxes that fell off the conveyor belt and toss them back on. It's a perfectly solid catwalk that barely even vibrates or moves but the fact that the floor of the thing is a mesh (albeit a thick one) and the catwalk extends off the edge of the floor over a two-floor drop down to shipdock is enough to send my heartrate through the roof.

Try a 65' grid above a stage. That was my max height for rigging. The jokers that do arena rigging are truly without fear.
