Foul play was the cause of the injury, and a suspect is currently in custody.

Leon (pictured) is the prime suspect in the attack due to the fact that this rear end in a top hat did the exact same thing a year ago.

Just let the system call every pitch! Why do we need to add a gamification to getting strike calls right? Why do we want to add more downtime to games?? There is a correct call for each pitch, so let the most reliable method make that call and be done with it.

What is gained by doing a weird challenge system?

I don't disagree Posey was great, and their careers are quite similar. I wouldn't care if he was in the HOF. But Mauer's WAR7 is based entirely on seasons at catcher, and he's 5th all-time among them. He's 7th in JAWS. He looks better from both the short and long term perspectives. Posey staying at catcher a tiny bit longer (he also started later than Mauer btw) is the only argument in favor. I think it's informative that despite doing so, he couldn't match Mauer's career WAR. You could reasonably look at their age 23 through 30 seasons and see that Mauer has a close, but clear edge in most categories.
