Does anyone have a picture of ALL of the Lego Modular Houses set? The ones I've seen online usually leave out one or two of them. Market Street, Cafe Corner, Green Grocer, Fire Brigade, Grand Emporium and Pet Shop. I just want to see what they all look like lined up.

So all of the modular houses are: Cafe Corner, Market Street, Green Grocer, Fire Brigade, Grand Emporium, Pet Shop, and Town Hall, if I've got them all correct. If I went on Ebay, that's over $2200 worth of Lego. Holy crap, I wish I had disposable income, or I wish I had the foresight to buy up a couple of Cafe Corner's and to hold on to them. They are going for about $700+ on Ebay right now. I'd love to see a picture of all of them together. I've asked this earlier, and got this reply, but it's now missing the Town Hall. I took my 4 year old son to the Lego store over the weekend, which was a good excuse for me to go too. I ended up getting a bunch of grey and black pieces for my old castle sets so we can build even larger castles, as well as one of the huge grey baseplates. I told him he could pick one set in the store (He went for the Maersk Train, which I then had to tell him was out of our price range), but he settled on the Lego Town Forest Fire Fire Truck (http://city.lego.com/en-US/Products/Default.aspx#4208) for his first official lego set. It was fun as hell to build it with him. The slide out equipment holder is pretty drat cool, although the air tank tends to get lost when he's playing with it as there's no way of locking it into place.

Carbohydrates posted:Hey, look at this dumbass car. 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst Edition. I love that car, and it would go perfectly next to the speed champions charger that I have, but it has the same issue I have with most of the speed champion cars, and that's that it isn't truly minifig scale, in that cars don't have center cockpits for 1 driver. With that said, it looks fantastic and I love the spoiler. I just built the GTR last night, and I really like how wide it is. To have the charger be that wide (and still be scale) it would have to be about 4" longer than it is now. I get why they do them that way, but I'd like the bigger cars. I think the only ones that don't have the center cockpit thing going are the GTR and the Audi. I'm curious as to how the fast and furious cars are going to look. Carbohydrates posted:Thank you! No car is truly minifig scale, except some of the 4w and 5w builders that don't care that their cars can't actually fit a minifig. Actually, take that a step further: when you say minifig scale, are we talking about a minifig's height or width? Because a minifig isn't even to scale with a person. So given these compromises inherent to the very idea of building LEGO cars, I'm fine with the classic conceit of "centered cabin, one fig" to make these cars look good on the roads of a LEGO city. Your comments about minfig scale are dead on. With the height of the GTR, the little lego guy scales out to about 4' tall, so the GTR pretty much doesn't fit that bill. When I display my cars, I rarely put the lego fig in the car, they pretty much hang out next to it holding their wrench and helmet. I like the 8 wide scale because I guess it's a more realistic version of the car. I also don't have any sort of city setup, so the scale vs. any of the buildings doesn't really bother me either. I also forgot you were the one who did the used car lot, I absolutely love that. What other 8 wide sets are there? On the Lego site, the only ones I saw were the GTR and the Audi rally car.

When we found out we were having a kid, at the same time Lego put the entire castle line on a clearance sale so I bought about 20 different sets and we were set for christmas and birthdays for about 4 years. Other than that, I've currently got the space station on hold to build, but that's because we're re-doing our basement and I'm putting shelves up to display my better lego creations, from everything I hear the space station is fragile as poo poo so it's getting built and thrown up on the wall immediately.

I got the Ulysses probe yesterday and built it. I changed it up a bit to be able to use the stand for the hubble, thanks to Carbohydrates on discord for the idea. I was actually shorted one of the 4x4 curved yellow plates (I had an extra white one) so it worked out pretty well. I also grabbed the shuttle transporter and built the shuttle from it, that's the little guy furthest to the right. A pre-emptive answer to a question I get a lot, the Saturn V tower is from the Overwatch Gibraltar set with some additional pieces from bricklink to build it higher
