I was actually thinking of trying to finish Dragon Age 2 with my Mage Hawk one of these days. If I were to play as an offensive focused Mage, which trees should I go for?

Everyone might as well just tstop hoping for this since Bioware pretty much considers this their "thing" that makes them stand out from other game developers. They have a rabid fanbase that just eats up stuff like this and they'd be loving crazy not to feed them what they want.

Gotta say that I'm approving of the direction that Bioware is taking with the demons in DA:I. Hell, that thing is basically a Cenobite and that jumps it up a few notches in my eyes, at least.

So why are people against the keep again? This simply means that I can choose what happened in my earlier games without having to hold on to my save games like they are my firstborn. Does it hurt someones feeling regarding how save game transfers should work, or what?

I'm really tired of Jennifer Hale, after playing SWTOR. I'm not sure if she just doesn't try to have a range or if she legitimately lacks one, but every Jennifer Hale voice in that game is the same one. Even her Bastilla Shan cameo voice that shows up for 3 lines sounds more like Commander shepard than Bastilla.

Hell, David Hayter sounded more distinct and different compared to his other roles, and people claim he's a bad VA.
Yeah, I've never really understood the love that the majority of posters in this board has for her.

How else are you supposed to clone/engineer someone? You need to have a point of genetic reference.

It's called somatic cell nuclear transfer.
I was actually just having some fun with the thought of a rich powerful buisnessman ordering a bunch of scientists to equip his gene engineered daughter with lots of "junk in the trunk".

Not really. The thing with arcane warriors was using your magic stat instead of your strength stat so you could put your mage in plate armour and sword. And switching weapons sets between sword and staff.

Sounds like Inquisition will have a similar specialisation, which is good.
I'm just happy as long as Mages can use other armour types than old bathrobes and dresses. Hell, the moment I get DA III I'm beelining for that sweet cowboy/swashbuckler hat I've seen in some screenshots.

The problem is, they seem to want to have their cake and eat it too. It's the problem with all the Bioware expanded universe comics and tie in novels and bullshit like that. That's how you get poo poo like Kai Leng.

Bioware wants to constantly introduce new players but they also want to fit in all this extra stuff that you'll only understand if you play all the games/read all the stories.
Basically what Bungie did with the Halo series then? Yeah, I'll pass on that, thank you very much.

Yeah, I never understood why pretty much every goon in the DA threads wanted to slurp on the Arishok's shaft. I just saw him as a passive aggresive rear end in a top hat who was to dumb to find his first edition not-Quran. Yeah, Kirkwall is a shithole and pretty much everyone in power turns out to be a raving lunatic but the Arishok is just as bad. Fucker never left Kirkwall alive on my watch :colbert:

While DA2 was a massive disappointment I'll at least concede that I do appreciate the fact that Bioware made combat "flashier" and quicker. Unfortunatly they also thought that waves of enemies that can appear everywhere, making any tactical plan beyond "scorched earth" useless, was a good idea.

Because Shadows of Mordors hella rad and they could've put in a cutscene where you're literally making GBS threads into the open mouth of Tom Bombadil and it would still be the best thing to come out of the franchise since the movies.
making GBS threads in the mouth of Tom Bombadill is never a bad decision.

Also, the collective aneurysm that the Tolkien lore spergs had in some other forums were just fantastic to behold. That alone made me preorder the game.

I'd be so goddamn happy if you could just play as a Corsair, instead of a Spectre, since that would actually give you a decent reason for farting around in the entire galaxy, doing sidequests.

This is probably the reason that for the first time ever I'll be getting a Bioware RPG on console instead of PC, since my old rig is starting to get a bit long in the tooth and with the (probable) lack of mods.

What I've seen it's only a difference in the graphical bling department and the loading times.

Although I'm still conflicted on whether I should go for the PC or the PS4 version, since my current rig is only slightly above the minimum requirements.

Yeah, I'll probably try to build my Knight Enchanter for damage, as much as possible. The Arcane Warrior spec may have been pretty much invulvernable in Origins but it was boring as hell to play as. It seems that Bioware might be onto what makes a fun melee/magic hybrid with this game.
