Seconding Rotom-W; he's a beast. I use 248 HP, 232 Def, 28 SpA though for OHKO against max HP Gliscor. Although I am considering 32 SpA after learning the hard way online that EVs are weird at level 50... edit: WrightOfWay posted:Also, you need 100 EVs at level 50 to get a guaranteed OHKO on Gliscor, since Hydro Pump got nerfed. It's not really worth investing in Special Attack on Defensive Rotom sets anymore. I can't believe I forgot about this. This makes way more sense. Someone in the thread brought this up earlier, and it's the easiest way I remember it. At Stage 0, your stats are 2/2 (100%). Buff = add 1 to the numerator Debuff = subtract 1 from the denominator +6: 8/2 = 400% +5: 7/2 = 350% +4: 6/2 = 300% +3: 5/2 = 250% +2: 4/2 = 200% +1: 3/2 = 150% 0: 2/2 = 100% -1: 2/3 = 67% -2: 2/4 = 50% -3: 2/5 = 40% -4: 2/6 = 33% -5: 2/7 = 29% -6: 2/8 = 25% Immer fucked around with this message at 17:57 on Dec 7, 2013 |

Is there any way to prevent Toxic Orb from working at all? Toxic Orb activates at the end of the turn, and it does not override other status. You can burn him if you're head-to-head and it hasn't activated yet, or you can burn him on the switch if Gliscor has yet to be played. Regardless, most Gliscor carry Protect, so if you don't burn him on a switch, he usually gets toxic'd anyways. Immer fucked around with this message at 00:03 on Jan 1, 2014 |
