Serebii reports that TPC mentioned in their e-mail newsletter that the Groudon and Kyogre on the OR/AS box arts are new Pokémon, so either Mega Evolutions or Alpha and Omega Formes. Which was pretty obvious from the beginning, but it's nice to have confirmation.

It would be great and convenient for us, but bad from a marketing and business standpoint, which is what these events are all about in the first place.
