Honestly for me it's kind of the inverse of the Dyson set, where it looked really striking on klingon/romulan ships but kind of muted and forgettable on federation boats since it was an white shield on an off-white hull. Like on the screenshots there you can barely see it against the dark green hulls on most of the romulan ships, but it stands out a lot on the connie and the space dildo bulwark.

This lad initially sent me a scam email, posing as a woman and asking for help moving several million dollars out of Cote d'Ivoire. After a few email exchanges the lad became a man and asked to join my church with the goal of applying for a sizable education grant (he can receive up to $50k for studying such fields as Astronauticism, Plasticology or even Briquet Making). Once I started making progress with him and getting him used to the church's love of photographs, I decided to turn the bait into a subtle (ok, sort of subtle) homage to you guys.

Over the past year and a half or so I've been lurking in the forums here (I did make a couple of small posts...) and followed the advice I've picked up. The result is that my ship builds are better (go Fleet Sulu!), I can hold my own in Kerrat without embarrassing myself and I've ground enough contra and ec to make myself if not space rich, then at least a respectable space middle class. However I look at it, I've done well off of you guys and this is just a twisted way to get some poor, criminal schmuck to say "thanks" for me.

This week the lad was given instructions to make (at least) 12 photos with 4 different signs.

That is NEVER alright.

It baffles me that Cryptic continues to put these things into the game when they have to deal with this exact same outcry EVERY SINGLE TIME they do it.

It's not the real world, but the other players who are complaining about this ARE REAL PEOPLE who are not enjoying it. To me, at least, there's no difference between doing this in a game to upset me, or doing it in the real world to upset me. It's not acceptable either way, and it has to stop.

And don't tell me to lighten up. You have NO right to dictate to me how I am to have fun, and you have NO right to have your fun at my expense, particularly when I have objected to it.

Players can now gain winter trinkets by participating in any wave by entering the “Tide of Ice” area and selecting the prompt "Join the Battle."
This must be done and participate through to the end of the event in order to gain completion credit.
This will also allow credit to complete the Accolade "A Line in the Snow."
New Winter Event items will continue to not require completion of “Tide of Ice” to purchase.
Resolved an issue that prevented the 3 piece Unspeakable Energy bonus from working on the Elachi Sheshar Dreadnought Cruiser.
The Elachi Subspace Rift Module can now be unequipped from a kit.
Duty Officer Packs:
Removed Powered/Unpowered Artifacts and Mark XII Consoles from all Duty Officer Packs as these are now obsolete with the new Research and Development system.
Added new bonus items to the Gamma Quadrant Duty Officer Pack such as:
Stack of Gamma Quadrant commodities
A stack of Embassy, Dilithium Mine, or Spire Provisions.
A set of 4 Fleet Modules.
Updated the provision bonus award for the Fleet Support Duty Officer and the Romulan Survivor Duty Officer Packs to include the chance to win a stack of Embassy, Dilithium Mine, or Spire Provisions.



Known Issues:

Numerous uniform clipping issues with the Talaxian Dress Uniform, Female Odyssey uniforms with collars, and Female Khan Upper piece.
