Hmm, what have we here?

Booblord Zagats posted:

Not this exact one, but my sister sells planes for a living and my brother is a licensed pilot, so the two of us and my sister in law are pitching in and buying him a used 1999 Diamond DA20 off one of my sister's clients. Mechanically and structurally it's amazing, but the upholstery is jacked and he's saying he'll want to pull out most of the avionics and go digital.

All in all though, I can't wait till he takes me flying in it

Easiest plane to learn how to fly plus they don't stall aggressively, but costs as much as 2 good Cessnas and can't go IFR. Still neat though.

Edit: don't spend tens of thousands of dollars on avionics for a VFR only airplane.

Been running in my wife's neutral hand me downs, finally got my feet looked at and it turns out I have a slight pronation. Finally got my first pair of serious running shoes.

I had the same problem and got the same-ish shoe, just its ugly green cousin. My shin splints and knee pain faded without me even having to stop running. Best shoes ever.

Kershaw Camp 10

Either a small machete or a big knife, hard to say. Regardless I'm in love with the thing and can't wait to take it camping, it has an impressive grip and heft to it.

Wow that's cheaper than my Kershaw pocket knife. I might have to pick one up for camping/mountain lions.

Haha it's a medium sized 1br apartment so I really don't need to spend that much when my couch is going to be 10 feet away from it. If I decide to pick up a townhouse after my initial 6 months are up I'll get something bigger.

A whole page ago but if you want good Levi's, go find an outlet mall. They'll usually have "buy one get one 50% off" and you can leave with two pair of not-Walmart-poo poo for 60-80 bucks. Plus you're guaranteed to find some that fit because the entire store is wall to wall pants.

Just got me some new 501's and they're great.
